How to create a domain pointer in DirectAdmin?

You can use your additional domain and point it to the root of your primary site. If your primary domain is example.com and point example.net to it and someone will access example.net then browser will display example.com 1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Domain Pointers Icon or type Pointers in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. In the top right-hand side, click on the Create Domain Pointers button.  4. Under Source Domain Enter your domain pointer name. 5. Unmark Create as an Alias and then click on the Create button.  Your domain pointer will be created but please make sure that your domain pointer nameserver is pointed to same as your primary nameserver else it will not work.

How to remove domain pointer in DirectAdmin?

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Domain Pointers Icon or type Pointers in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. Under** Domain Pointers**, Select your domain pointer you wish to remove. 4. Click on the Delete button.  Your domain pointer will be successfully removed.

How to create domain Alias in DirectAdmin?

With domain alias, You can access old.example.com on new.example.com and some other services. 1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Domain Pointers Icon or type Pointers in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. In the top right-hand side, click on the Create Domain Pointers button.  4. Under** Source Domain** Enter your domain pointer name. 5. Make sure that Create as an Alias is tick marked.  6. Click on the Create button. Your alias domain will be** successfully** created.

How to remove alias domain in DirectAdmin?

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Domain Pointers Icon or type Pointers in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. Under Domain Pointers, Select the domain alias you wish to remove. 4. Click on the Delete button.  Your alias domain will be successfully removed.

How to add sub-domain in DirectAdmin?

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Subdomain Management Icon or type Subdomain in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. In the** top right-hand side**, click on the Add Subdomain button.  4. Under Subdomain Enter your subdomain name you wish to create. 5. Click on the Add Subdomain button.  Your subdomain will be created.

How to remove sub-domain in DirectAdmin?

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Subdomain Management Icon or type Subdomain in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. Under the Subdomain Name, Select the subdomain name you wish to remove.  4. Click on the Delete button, If you also want to remove directory contents then check mark Remove Directory Content and then click on the Delete button.  Your subdomain will be** successfully removed**.

How to redirect your website in DirectAdmin?

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Site Redirection Icon or type Site Redirection in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. In the top right-hand side, click on the Create New Redirect button.  4. In Local URL Path If you want to just redirect your website page then enter page name or leave this as it is. 5. Select Redirect Type from drop-down menu and in Destination URL enter URL where you wish to redirect your website or page.  6. Click on the Create button. Redirect will be created.

How to remove redirect from your website in DirectAdmin?

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Site Redirection Icon or type Site Redirection in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. Under Local URL Path, Select the redirect entry you wish to remove. 4. Click on the Delete button, It will prompt for confirmation. Again click on the Delete button.  Redirect will be removed.
