How to Install Advanced Electron Forum(AEF) via Softaculous in SiteWorx?
1. Log into your SiteWorx account. (e.g. www.example.com:2443/siteworx/ ) 2. Under "SiteWorx Menu", click the "Hosting Features" menu item if it is not already open. 3. Click on the "Softaculous" option. 4. SiteWorx will open a Softaculous Interface. 5. On the left side of your screen you should locate the "Forums" category. Click on it and then click on the "AEF" link that will appear. 6. Click on the "Install" button 7. Fill the necessary field under the "Software Setup" field: - Choose Protocol: You can leave this as it is. - Choose Domain: If you don't have multiple domains, leave this as it is. - In Directory: If you want to install this in a directory, for example example.com/forum, enter the directory name. Otherwise, leave this blank to install in your main domain example.com 8. Enter the following details under the "Board Settings" field: Board Name: Name of the forum Board E-mail: The forums e-mail address Use UTF-8 Character Set: Chose this If you are going to work with multiple languages. 9. Under the "Admin Account" field enter the following information: Admin Username: Your new AEF username (for security reason do not use the "Administrator" or the "Admin" username.) Admin Password: Use a strong password. Admin Email: Your e-mail address. (Useful for administrator account password reset, notification, etc) Note: Copy the admin username and password on a notepad because you will need these login details to access the admin area of your AEF Forum. 10. **Advanced Options: **Leave this as it is, unless you want to change the database name or take an automated backup. Please note that taking frequent backups may take a lot of disk space. Finally, scroll down to the end of page and click on the Install Button.

With domain alias, You can access old.example.com on new.example.com and some other services. 1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the Domain Pointers Icon or type Pointers in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. In the top right-hand side, click on the Create Domain Pointers button.  4. Under** Source Domain** Enter your domain pointer name. 5. Make sure that Create as an Alias is tick marked.  6. Click on the Create button. Your alias domain will be** successfully** created.

1. Login to your DirectAdmin Account. 2. In the Account Manager section, click on the MySQL Management icon or type MySQL Management in the navigation filter box. The option will appear. Click on it.  3. Under database text, click on the database you wish to modify privileges for.  4. Under User list, you can find your database users. Click on** Modify Privileges**.  5. Modify Privileges according to your needs and then click the Change button.  Your database user privileges will be successfully changed.
Backup/RestoreHow to Restore a Backup you Generated Earlier in DirectAdmin?
1. Login to your DirectAdmin account. 2. In the Advanced Features section, click on Create/Restore Backups icon or type Restore in the navigation filter box and then the option will appear. Click on it.  3. In top right-hand side, you will find the Restore Backup button. Click on it.  4. Under Restore Backup, click on the Drop-Down menu and select the backup you wish to restore.  5. Under Restore Options, it will display an option to check/uncheck. You can leave it as it is or uncheck the data you do not want to include in the restore.  6. Scroll down to the end of page and click the Restore Backup button.  If everything worked well, your database will have restored successfully. You can check the status of your restore from the Messages option. At the top right side, click on your username >> Messages. Note: The restore can take some time so check Messages after a few minutes but it will depend on the size of your backup.

Before adding a secondary domain name, we advise you to point your add-on domain name server to your main domain name server. You may also need to wait for domain propagation. It usually takes between 12 and 24 hours. 1. Log into your SiteWorx account. (eg: www.example.com:2443/siteworx/ ) **2. **Under "SiteWorx Menu", click the "Hosting Features" menu item if it is not already open. 3. Click the "Domain" menu item and then click on the "Secondary" option. 4. Under the "Add Domain" tab, enter your domain in "Domain" field (e.g. example.com). 5. Click the "Add" button. You should see a success message notifying you that your secondary domain has been added.
